Health & Safety
“Concord Well Servicing has placed, and will continue to place, safety education, government regulatory compliance, environmental management and service rig safety, as the highest corporate priorities.”
By stressing safety and environmental training at all employment levels, Concord hopes to instill in our people a sense of pride in providing a safe and environmentally secure work place. It is our belief that the employer, employee, contractor, subcontractor and supplier personnel must work together to reduce accidents in our industry. Safety and environmental excellence can only be achieved through careful planning and active participation among all these stakeholders.
An integral component of safety is training, and at Concord this is ongoing. Our training addresses not only job-specific safety instruction and equipment preventative maintenance, but also employee-oriented courses such as fatigue management. Our objective is to have the best-trained people in the business. Our rigs are worth nothing without properly trained personnel.
We have long been a proponent of environmental responsibility that extends above and beyond the minimum requirements of the industry and government regulatory agencies. Since the mid-eighties, in advance of industry regulations, Concord implemented its own environmental protection policies. We continue to promote the efficient use and responsible disposal of rig-site waste materials and operate fuel-efficient, low-emission and noise-reduced equipment.
