Rig Spotlight: A Special Thanks to Rig #129

In this ever-changing world of the oil patch it’s easy to get caught up in the negatives or challenges we face on a day to day basis. This Concord Star Rig Spotlight is intended to provide you with some insight on how we are being represented in our southern Saskatchewan operations by the crew of CWS #129.

From the moment I pulled on to the location the attitude of the crew was outstanding. These guys are proud of their rig and of Concord. The rig is very well organized and the crew is knowledgeable: they knew the next step of all operations that day.

I think there are a lot of our rigs that operate in this same manner, but what makes these guys stand out is what they do after hours as well. I did some investigating in the town in which they stay (East End). Eddy is the owner of the local hotel and he raves about what great guys we have. He even wear's a Concord hat! The grocery store opens after hours to accommodate our crew and trusts them with early morning coffee paid for on an honor system.

These type of small details sometimes go unnoticed, but not by our client, Lyle Smith of Wildriver Resources. As a result of my visit I felt proud to be associated with this crew and Concord Well Servicing. This group of hard working men represents all of us and I wanted to share it with everyone. Great work #129!
